Artist Statement

What if we could do one thing that was kinder to others or ourselves?

O.A.K. stands for One Act of Kindness and this is what I call myself but my actual name is Jennifer Murphy.

I am an artist currently residing in Savannah Georgia. Originally from Atlanta, I have been an artist since I can remember. I have moved to California and back to the east coast.

I formed the name OAK Artist as I hope to emit the same in my life and encourage others.

My art can vary, by whatever I am inspired by at the time. I work with any kind of paint, as well as found objects. Usually, there is some form of connection to feathers and nature. For myself when I am in nature that is when I can be the best version of myself and hope to help others to do the same with my life and artworks.
